Studio Borges Interior Design creates distinctive, joyful, and functional spaces that celebrate the people living in them. With over 15 years of experience, Thiara Borges Dananberg founded the studio based on the driving principle that great design exists at the intersection of livable function and joyful storytelling.
I designed the visual identity, packaging, brand collateral, website, and illustrations for Studio Borges that reflect the vibrant and artful interiors the studio has created. Originally from Brazil, Thiara moved to the United States during childhood. The metaphor of a migrating and blossoming butterfly, symbolizing Thiara's transformation and journey, became a source of inspiration for the designs. For the illustrations, we took inspiration from the fabrics and wallpapers that Thiara uses throughout her designs and included florals that are native to Brazil.
